Wolstenholme International recognizes the added value associated with UV/Radiation technology and has recently invested heavily in resources at our facility in the UK.

Our UNIPAK® SuperCure UV metallic inks are continually developed to optimize cure, brightness and one pack stability by optimizing the combination of our metallic pigment and vehicle technology.

Wolstenholme International has a range of UNIPAK® SuperCure UV metallic inks for litho, flexo, screen and primagraphic printing processes.

Offset
A one component UV offset ink for use on all sheetfed litho presses. Also suitable for use on letterpress machines.

Flexo
A range of one pack metallic inks for use on all narrow web label presses. Optimized for use on most label substrates.

Screen Pastes
A range of metallic pastes for the formulation of press-ready UV metallic screen inks.

Primagraphic
A range of metallic inks for use on primagraphic printing presses such as Arpeco Impressionist®.

Duo is a new addition to our range of UV metallic inks and is a two-component UV offset system for high-speed sheetfed, web and letterpress in combination with a UV lacquer. The Duo metallic inks are based on the latest technology, which provides excellent press performance on a wide range of applications such as cartons, commercial print, labels and pharmaceutical work. Ideal substrates for Duo are coated and uncoated papers and board, labels and non-porous substrates i.e. metal foils, PS, PP, PVC and other synthetic materials.

The main features of Duo metallic inks provide high brilliance, fast curing speed, excellent press stability, high rub resistance, low odor and are suitable for direct finishing.

The new packaging design makes the two-component inks easy to use in the printing room, preventing mistakes and wastage of inks. The varnish and paste are pre-weighed accurately by Wolstenholme leaving the operators to put the paste into the varnish can and mix. There is no need for weighing by the printer/ink mixer.

Duo metallic inks provide the highest performance possible for UV curable metallic ink systems.

Wolstenholme International also offers Mirasheen™ press-ready UV inks for offset, flexo narrow web, flexo tower coater, primagraphic and screen processes. All Mirasheen™ inks provide a 'mirror-like' brilliant finish and are based on Wolstenholme's vacuum metallised pigment technology. Mirasheen™ inks are a cost-effective means of achieving foil-like metallic effects.
