The
Superoto® and Silveroto™ range of bronze and aluminium
pigments provide the ink manufacturer with an extremely
versatile selection of metallic pigments specifically
designed to meet the quality requirements of today's
printing ink systems. The production process is
carefully controlled to ensure optimum particle size
distribution, consistency in colour and brilliance. Inks
formulated on Superoto® & Silveroto™ exhibit excellent
clean working on the press, outstanding brilliance, high
printed colour strength, clean colour, superior print
coverage and substrate versatility.
Pellets
(H2O) - For Water Based Applications
|
To
satisfy the increasing demand for more
environmentally-friendly formulation chemistries,
Wolstenholme International has launched H2O, a
range of bronze pellets and aluminium pastes,
designed for use in waterbased flexographic and
gravure inks. |
H2O products
are supplied as pellets which incorporate stabilization
additive technology that provides ease of dispersion and
stability of finished ink systems. With very high metal
content, formulators have maximum flexibility over final
ink formulations. H2O pellets are available in various
particle size grades to suit the majority of
applications where a bronze pigment is needed for use in
a waterbased system. Suitable applications include all
printing applications where a waterbased gold ink is
required including gift-wrap, labels, cartons and
napkins.
Pellets (SG) -
For Solvent Based Applications
|
Superoto® SG pellets are available in a
variety of particle sizes consistent with
the Superoto® range.

United Nations Committee of Experts on the
Transport of Dangerous Goods. |

In
response to increasing industry demands to reduce
dust levels in the workplace, Wolstenholme
International has developed a pelletised form of
bronze powder. Superoto® SG pellets contain a
resin binder which minimizes dust level, thereby
offering a cleaner, easier to handle product.
Superoto® SG pellets are dust free ensuring clean
and easy handling, easily dispersed by low-energy
mixing, compatible with commonly used liquid ink
systems, non-hazardous and non-combustible* and
space saving (pellets have a higher bulk density
than powder). |
